AK Party Deputy Chairman of External Affairs Suat KINIKLIOGLU was hosted by “Avrupa Vizyonu Avrupa Saati” program on March 31, 2009 presented by Ahmet SEVER and broadcasted on TRT 2.

In the program which Turkish – EU relations were discussed, KINIKLIOGLU mentioned the significant dialogue facilitated in Brussels during the visit of Prime Minister Erdogan in January 2009 followed by the visit of President Gul which together point to the increasing diplomacy traffic and acceleration of relations with the EU.

KINIKLIOGLU mentioned the appointment of a new chief negotiator as a positive development leading to the acceleration of the process within itself and focusing more on relations with EU and the coming months will be the start of a better era in EU – Turkey relations. He said that “From now on, in the legislative process, we will accelerate the EU process in accordance with the priorities in the national program.
