ImageAK Party Deputy Chairman of External Affairs and Cankiri MP Suat KINIKLIOGLU accompanied Prime Minister ERDOGAN in his visit to the U.K. on March, 15-16, 2010.

In his visit upon an invitation by his British counterpart Gordon Brown, PM ERDOGAN made a speech at the Turkey – Britain Business Forum to invite the investors for investing in Turkey and to come together with the leading businessmen in Britain.

ImageKINIKLIOGLU said that the discussions in London focused on primarily the European Union and Cyprus as well as Middle East Peace involving Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine.

Being the Chairman of the Turkey-Britain Interparliamentary Friendship Group from 2008 to 2010, KINIKLIOGLU undersigned efforts for improving the dialogue between the two countries, strengthening cooperation in the fields of economy, politics and culture and sustaining the UK’s support for Turkey’s EU membership process. Within this scope, KINIKLIOGLU also developed initiatives for the establishment of a Turkish-British Forum.
