In his speech at the press conference, Chairman of the Turkish-American Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group and AK Party Deputy Chairman of External Affairs Suat KINIKLIOGLU has drawn attention to the unusual powers attributed to the chairman of the committee by the U.S. Congress and working order of the committees explaining “A voting that lasted for hours and took place with nearly a few last Congress members pushed to come in the last minute was realized”. KINIKLIOGLU said that the Government would undertake the necessary consultations in order to identify the pursuant steps stating “Although the outcome has developed against us in terms of numbers, today everyone present here saw that this was a costly victory for the Armenian Diaspora. For this reason, I would like to thank those who have contributed to this effort”. |
